Connection Status Indication

1.

Will I be able to surf the internet and/or receive MMS when BlackBerry Connect application is running ?
Yes, you will be able to connect to the Internet or receive your MMS even when BlackBerry® Connect is active. This is because BlackBerry® Connect is given lowest priority and loses its PDP context if another application, e.g. Phone, Pocket IE, SMS, MMS, requests it. BlackBerry® Connect is configured to automatically re-acquire the PDP context after 5 minutes of data inactivity.

  2. Why do I get a suspended icon on my home screen ?
Please checkthat you have the following :
• A SIM provisioned for BlackBerry® service

• Service is not disabled.

  3. After I installed the BlackBerry® Connect™ application and synchronized with my device, my desktop email calendar is not reflected on my device?

• Restart the service

  5. When I create a meeting request on C720W, there is no Invite Attendees tab.
There is no option to create meeting invites on C720W. This is a limitation of the Microsoft OS and only affects the creation of meeting invites from the device. You will still be able to accept/decline requests received on the C720W.

  6. When I closed my attachment view, e.g. closing Word document and return to the previous message on my C730 Outlook mobile,  I was unable to use the directional key to read my email.
Please use the “Back” (←) key to return to your Outlook Mobile Inbox first and resume your email browsing.
